Normal turnaround time is one to two weeks max if we need to order parts. Basic repairs are usually completed within a few days. Rush repairs available at time and a half. Labor rate is $60/hr. Parts not included in estimates. Most repairs will require new strings. I couldn't list every type of repair offered, but whatever you need, I've most likely done it at least several times before. All prices are subject to change. Different instruments will require different amounts of work. Figures below should be used to aviod unecessary bench fees and to preauthorize repair costs. A small discount is usually given for multiple instruments.
- Restring — $20
- Includes restringing, fret polishing, oil fretboard, evaluation. Cost of string not included.
- Basic Setup Acoustic — $35
- Includes above, plus neck adjustment and saddle adjustment.
- Basic Setup Electric — $45
- Same as acoustic setup, but includes setting intonnation, tightening of all nuts, lubricate controls (prevents rust) Additional — $35 for setting tremolo
- Bone nut — $45
- Removal of old nut and replaced with custom fit high polished bone.
- Bone saddle — $45
- Custom fit high polished, compensated bone.
- Remove and Reglue bridge — $75
- New acoustic bridge — $225
- Any type of wood available
- Crack repair — $60 mimimum
- swell, glue and cleat and touch up finish. Addtional cost for splints or large cracks
- Install Acoustic Pickup — $50 minimum
- Resize saddle, wire pickup system, drill output holes/install internal controls, install battery clip. Cost increases for recutting bottom of saddle slot, cutting holes for onboard controls, and custom wiring.
- Install Electric pickup — $40 for one, $65 multiple
- New Output Jack — $25
- Cost of jack included, high quality switchcraft jack $35 for “barrel” acoustic jack (switchcraft)
- Electric Hot Rodding (coil tap, series parallel, ect.)
- $45 initial mod, — $30 each additional control. Parts included. Higher cost for F hole archtops.
- Replace Tuners — $35
- Direct replacement price. Higher for modifications
- Refret — $225 unbound $275 bound
- 18% silver high quality medium fretwire Additional — $20 for special sized wire.
- Fret dressing — $80
- Level and crown all frets, bevel fret ends, clean and oil fretboard,polish frets. Setup included.
- Refinishing
- Bolt on body — $425
- Set neck and body instrument — $675 Cost is less if instrument does not need to be stripped.
